These terms apply to the Yes on Measure Q text messaging program operated by Richmond Firefighters & Community for Yes on Measure Q, sponsored by International Association of Firefighters Local 188 (the “Committee”). By opting in to the program, you agree to these terms.

Program description

Subscribers may receive recurring SMS and MMS messages about Measure Q, campaign updates, voting reminders, volunteer opportunities, events, and fundraising. Messages may be sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies based on campaign activity and your interactions with us.

Consent and participation

You enroll by providing your mobile number and affirmatively consenting through our signup form or another approved opt-in method. You confirm that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the number provided. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of making a purchase or contribution, volunteering, or otherwise supporting the campaign. Providing a phone number alone does not enroll you in recurring campaign texts.

Costs and availability

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan. Delivery depends on your carrier, device, and network availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The Committee does not guarantee message delivery.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any campaign text to unsubscribe. We also honor other clear requests to stop receiving text messages. After you opt out, we may send one final confirmation, and no further campaign texts will be sent unless you provide fresh consent. You may also request removal by emailing [email protected] with the mobile number you want removed.

Help and number changes

Reply HELP for assistance or email [email protected]. If you change or give up your mobile number, please unsubscribe from the old number or notify us. To enroll a new number, complete the signup process again.

Privacy

We do not sell or share text messaging opt-in information or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Changes and contact

We may modify or end this program. Updated terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Changes do not expand your consent to unrelated messages; we will obtain new consent when required. Questions: [email protected].
